RULES AND REGULATIONS
OF TRADITIONAL GAMES CLUB (TGC)
All members,
committees and advisors are required to abide by the following rules and
regulations of Traditional Games Club (TGC).
These rules govern : the payment TGC, the attendance and behaviour of
members during meetings, activities and competition, and the high standard of
conduct expected by everyone connected with TGC.
1.0 MEMBERSHIP
Membership of the club is
open to every students I the school. To become the member of the club, you must
:-
1.
Complete
the TGC registration form and hand it in to the club’s secretary.
2.
Pay
the annual club registration fee.
2.0 CLUB FEES
1.
The amounts payable for the year of 2016 will be as follow :-
Annual registration fee RM 5.00
Activities fee RM 7.00
Competition fee (as stated according to
match)
An
annual registration fee is payable by all members of TGC. Students shall not be
eligible to join TGC until the annual registration fee has been paid.
All
members are responsible for paying, without demand, their activities and
competition fees to the TREASURER or SECRETARY of TGC.
3.0 MEMBERS
CODE OF CONDUCT
As a member of TGC, you
should :-
1. Always play to the best of your ability and within the spirit and laws of
the game.
2. Avoid all forms of gamesmanship and time wasting.
3. Avoid all violent and dangerous play.
4. Never use inappropriate, foul or abusive language during meetings,
activities and
competition.
5. Treat everyone with respect at all times.
6. Always abide by the instructions of the teacher and advisors of TGC.
8. Abide by the team playing policy.
9. Be
appropriately dressed for meetings, activities and competition.
10. Attend all meetings, activities and competitions unless you have informed
the teachers or advisors of TGC before you do so.
11. Pay attention to the teachers/advisors and never talk whilst they are
giving instructions.
12. Be prepared to learn and to concentrate fully during activities.
13. Treat other members of the club and anyone who is related to TGC with
respect.
Any
member who persistently breaches any of the above rules shall be liable to be
excluded from being a member of TGC by teacher/advisor of the club.
DRESS CODE
A school
uniform is a uniform worn by students primarily for a school or otherwise
educational institution. They are common in primary and secondary schools in
various countries. This uniform will be worn during indoor and within the school students competition.
These are the sport attire that are followed the ethic and rule in
school. Usually, students wear these sport attire for the event such as Sport’s
Day, Canteen’s Day and also when they involve in the Pendidikan Jasmani class. This attire will be worn for outdoor traditional games like 'galah panjang' and 'kabaddi'.
The baju kurung (Jawi: باجو كوروڠ) is
a traditional Malay costume which loosely translated as `enclosed dress`. This
type of costume is the national dress of Brunei and Malaysia. In Indonesia, it
is one of the many regional dresses of this culturally and ethnically diverse
country (especially on the island of Sumatra. Malay people wear baju kurung and
baju melayu during Eid’s Day, attending wedding and to celebrate the Islamic
occasion.
A garment consisting of a length of cotton or
silk elaborately draped around the body, traditionally worn by women from South
Asia. Indian people often wear sari and kurta to celebrate their Deepavali,
attending wedding and so on.
A straight, close-fitting
silk dress with a high neck, short sleeves, and a slit skirt, worn
traditionally by Chinese and Indonesian women. These outfits are called as
Cheongsam. In Malaysia, Chinese people will wear Cheongsam for the occasion
such as to celebrate their Chinese New Year, Wedding and so on.
All of these traditional attires will be worn for huge games and competition that involves other schools and participants.
